Last week, ACI went over to La Porte, Texas for two control system installations. One was connecting all the devices for a second reactor in an existing control panel we installed back in 2018 and add a second drive to control the agitator motor (They did inform us after the drive was installed that they were using a pneumatic agitator now
and it would not be used for the time being). The other was a communications based control panel installed on a plastic extruder machine. This was the second extruder machine we have done over there so we expected smooth sailing, but we encountered some issues with the pressure sensors. The documentation provided proved to be...incomplete. However, this is just a minor issue and hopefully we will resolve it this week. Will update with more information when job is completed.
